Biomimetics IM-IM-NM4O>BIOMIMET

The field of biomimetics and bioinspiration use biology to inspire solutions to challenging problems. The primary goal of this subject is to introduce the ideas of biomimetics and bioinspiration, simultaneously developing abilities to think across disciplines for active problem-solving. Lectures will introduce the biomimicry design process from original scientific breakthroughs to devices using cases studies. Laboratories will be focused on biomimetic approach to understanding of properties of selected materials.
