The aim of the classes is to familiarize students with the basic issues related to machining for various machining processes: turning and boring, milling, planning and shaping, drilling, broaching, reaming, grinding, honing, lapping. The following will be presented: process description, machines and tools, process variations, economic considerations, typical applications.
